Preceded in death by parents, John and Anna Tondl and sister RoseMarie Tondl. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Tondl; children and spouses, Matthew and Tracy Tondl; Tracy and Kevin McManus; grandchildren, Jackie and Lauren Tondl, Leo and Torrey McManus; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernard and Doris Tondl, John and Lucia Tondl; nieces and cousins.
SERVICES, Monday 10am, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Wake Service will be held Sunday 5pm, at the 72nd Street Chapel. JOHN A. GENTLEMAN MORTUARIES

The family of Leonard,
I had met him at his sister Rose Marie service here in Lincoln. We didn't get to talk long. He was sure a very fine man, as we found Rose Marie to be a wonderful freind. We had e-mailed before her service to receive information , as I needed to tell the Lincoln Czech Chapter.
I am so sorry for your loss of Len and Rose Marie, they will be greatly missed.

Len and I became instant friends when we were involved in the startup of River City Roundup. He was a master at attention to detail. Plus, he had a great sense of humor. He always managed to get me into western clothes! I told him my grandparents weren't cowboys! Len will be missed. Mike Boyle

Tondl was a wonderful guy with a great family. I will always remember the funny hunting stories he and my grandpa, uncles and dad told. Thanks for those memories.

Len was a wonderful person to know and work for (at Mutual of Omaha). Always a dedicated worker who also had a wonderful sense of humor. He was fair, honest and humble. You will all be in my prayers.
