JoAnne, Aida and family I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard and had to look online ot see that it was true. Aida, I remember in college coming over to your house and talking with your dad. He was to me a bit intimidating but a man of extreme wisdom. I think of those days often and with fondness. Cindy Gilmore (Groth)

I learned of your loss this last weekend while I was in Omaha. Living next door for so long (27 years) Mahmoud was always thoughtful, helpful and always had a great story to share. He hleped my mother and I after my dad passed away and we always appreciated him for that. My thoughts are with you.

Within all the stories that will remain with us and be put into the winning corner of our collective folly, resides the lovable and laughable mystery that he himself conjured up for us. God bless that guy

We have all lost a friend and champion. Mr. Amoura was always a man of principle and honor who every day preached his own eulogy in the way he lived his life.

To his family, please know that the mere presence of him in our lives, no matter how fleeting, made a very real difference. All of our prayers are with you in this difficult time.

He will be missed... and remembered

I am very sorry to hear the sad news, Mahmoud was like an uncle to me, took me in with open arms and I was considered as a member of his dear family.

May his soul rest in peace and give his wife Jo Anne and his children and families the strength to overcome these sad times.

He has left us here, but he will not be forgotten.
