We extend our deepest sympathy in the passing of your precious son, John Charles H, Jr. He was, indeed, too young to say goodbye to his family! AND, we are so very sorry to read your son Jeffrey also passed! (I have a brother named Jeffrey.) Having come across Legacy.com and the listing of John's name ... I am reaching out to you. Our family is attempting to locate Havener/Havenor's from Ireland. Would your family happen to have ancestors from there? Our John H. was born in 1821 in Ireland and left at age 25 for U.S./Canada; he spent the first 14 months in Canada. During the Civil War he served the Union Army by delivering supplies on a barge, as his age denied him combat. After the war, he settled in Fillmore County, Minnesota - south of Rochester, Minnesota, where he became a prosperous man and became known as the "Potato King" - ironic, since he left Ireland within the time frame of their potato famine. My name is: Penny Havenor-vonHaden of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. My email: [email protected]

Another star shines brightly in Gods night sky. Joyce and Jen - no one can take away your memories - the love, laughter and smiles. The hugs and kisses, even the spats between siblings Jen. They will be there, inside that special place in your heart. Put you hand on your chest-you will feel two hearts beating as one.
