Tina Briggs Obituary
After 18 years she retired from the Turning Stone Casino in December 2014 where she worked in the Gaming Commission Office and had previously worked for Camden Wire. Tina took special pride in caring for her children and grandchildren; she loved antiques and was an avid reader.
Tina is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; one daughter, Tara Pritchard of Durhamville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tom and Jessica Briggs, and Tim Briggs, both of Durhamville; 12 grandchildren, Mari, Tegan, Raelynn, Tommy, Traven, Jayce, Rowan, Timmy, Tyler, Troy, Trent, and Teiran; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tamara and Thomas Feld of Ringoes, N.J. and Tricia and Jim Calandra of Rome; a brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Linda Traxel of Blossvale; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Aron Briggs; sister, Terry Rivers and a brother, Todd Traxel.
There are no calling hours and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main St., Camden. Contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford, NY 13413. I am very sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in knowing that God says of those in distress "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of grief" (Jeremiah 31:13).
