Samuel Paradise Obituary
A native of Oglethorpe County, Georgia, Mr. Paradise was the son of the late Howard H. Paradise and Lady Ethel Gassaway Paradise. He was in the Logging Business most of his life, retired from ABB and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Slay Paradise, and was the beloved father of three children, Kim Paradise Winfrey (Mack), Kelli Paradise Smith (Kevin), and Samuel Green Paradise, Jr. (Caroline). He is also survived by one sister, Anne Paradise Hansford, and one brother, William H. Paradise; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home East on Saturday January 7, 2012 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Funeral services for Mr. Paradise will be Sunday January 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Brett Mask officiating.The family will be at the home of Sam Jr. and Caroline Paradise.
