Jesse Austin Obituary

Jesse J. Austin, Sr., age 87, passed away July 2, 2017.
He was the son of the late Samuel C. and Elizabeth Cameron Austin and the husband of Dorothy Wilson Austin of the home.
He is also survived by one daughter, Marie A. Williford; one sister, Marie Hayes, both of Chester; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and close friend, Mr. Ronnie Wylie, to whom he taught auto body repair and painting.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jesse J. Austin, Jr., brothers, Robert, Odell, Sam (Butler), Amzi and Wallace Austin; sisters, Janie Austin and Annie Austin.
The graveside service for Mr. Austin was conducted by Reverend Randall Runion at Evergreen Cemetery, 11:00 o'clock, Tuesday, July 4.
Mr. Austin was retired from Hearn Ford after 28 years of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Orrs Baptist Church, 1286 Lancaster Hwy., Chester, SC 29706.
