we met Beth on a train coming back from San Diego this past September. Labor Day weekend. She touched our hearts and we tried to keep in touch often. I am saddened and sickened by her death. She was the kindest, happiest person I have ever met. God Bless you, Bessie May.

We were neighbors with Bessy, and every year my kids and I would go trick or treating, and by her kindness she showed when she passed out her candys I know she is with our Lord Jesus Christ. She had his light and you could see. May God give you the peace you need to overcome a life taken without cause. God Bless you and your family

I met Grandma Bessie about a year after Marks death. my daughter-in-law, Carmen Bryant worked with him at Kaisers and shortly after had a son who she called Mark. Grandma Bessie treated him as her own grandchild and was good friends with our family. She loved to come to all our doings and always wore one of her great hats. I last saw her in June for my granddaughers graduation party. I could not believe when I heard of her death. I has bothered me to this day the way she died. She was a wonderful lady that will be sorely missed.

I first met Bessie at the E-Bell Club of Anahiem, when I became a new member - I remember her brite smile and her hugs - and those wonderful hats she wore! She was a very endearing person, and at her age, I missed my own grandmother. Bessie was so active & alert. My heart goes out to her family and all her friends. She will be dearly missed. Blessed be, Bessie!

Beth was like a grandmother to me. As the great-granddaughter of her longtime neighbors, Heck and Colleen, I have and always will hold a special place in my heart for Bess. I remember as a young child, walking across the street to Bess' and playing her piano, and just spending time with her. She was always smiling and remember her taking me to the mall for shopping or out for "meat and fries"! I feel so safe knowing that she is up in Heaven on my side! I now have a very special guardian angel looking after me! I love you Bess!

I was only three years old when I met Beth Whyman in 1957, we were neighbors til I grew up and got married and moved away.My folks at that point remained neighbors til they both passed away .Beth was such a joy to know ,she was a dear lady. Our neighbor hood was such a safe haven during those many years ago.Mrs. Whyman helped to make that so with her love for us kids (watching out for us)Which I am sure she is still doing.Hold on to the Hope of eternal life which God who does not lie promised before the beginning of time.Titus 1:2.Keeping you in thought and prayer.Love Coleen "Susie"

Beth was the best neighbor. We had the privilege of living next door to her for 30 years. She organized neighborhood parties. She banged pans every New Years. She wore the most jaunty hats. She would open her garage door and pull out chairs and visit for hours and greet everyone who walked by. She will be greatly missed!

I knew Ms. Whyman as a neighbor that lives behind her. I remember her with her big smile and always asking about my son Michael. Who fought in Iraq. She would come to my house with boxes of wheat thins, to sent to him. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to her family.

My memories of Bessie Mae Whyman are so many happy days at Bank of America East Anaheim Branch. We were a family of workers that loved each other & still many are in contact. We called her "Beth" sometimes. We & all the customers enjoyed her twinkle in her eyes & she was always smiling & had only kind words for everyone. She was a
dear friend to all of us.
I know she is resting peacefully in our Lords arms. Wishing all of her family some comfort & peace knowing that she is now our angel in heaven.
Thanks for being a great friend "Beth"
Love & Blessings

Mrs. Whyman was a joy to all she met. I knew Mrs. Whyman for the last 30 years and had the pleasure of helping her, Glen and Mamma Lucille chose their eyeglasses. She lit up the office whenever they walked in. Mark was the light of her life as well as all of her family. She had a lot of love to give and a smile that would melt your heart. Not to forget she could always slide in a joke or two. She will be deeply missed on earth, but is now resting at peace with her Husband,Son and Mother. I am thankful she allowed us to be a part of her JOY!
