Richard Dobrow Obituary
The funeral will be on Friday, August 16 at 10:30 a.m., 426 SW Taylors Ferry Rd, Portland, Ore., at Landau Chapel at Beth Israel Cemetery. The funeral will be followed by a Meal of Remembrance at Goodman Hall at 12 p.m., 1972 NW Flanders St, Portland, Ore.
Contributions may be made in Dick's memory to All Classical Portland, the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, the Jewish Family & Child Service of Portland, or the Portland Youth Philharmonic (Karensue Dobrow Scholarship Fund).

Shasa and Rachel you have my deepest condolences. Your parents were such a gift to so many. You may not remember my name, but I worked for Ladybug Preschool when you girls were younger. We so appreciated all that was shared of the Jewish faith and traditions by your family. Your father was such a gifted musician and respected Dr. There are so many thankful for his expertise and compassion. Blessings to you and your family.

It was my honor and privilege to work with Dr. Dobrow at Southwest Washington Medical Center. I served as the operations director for oncology and hospice for many years. He was a kind, ethical and dedicated physician. He will be missed...with prayers for him and his family...Karla Rowe

I was blessed to have worked for Dr. Dobrow for at least 18 years daily.I worked as a med tech at Hudsons Bay Medical Clinic. Doctor was so intelligent and yet sitting at the microscope would talk about his daughters. We had baby showers for him and He would have the best grin.Sending love to his family ! I only have good memories and loved his concerts as well.
