Christopher Burke Obituary

54, of Altamonte Springs, died October 23, 2020. His funeral service was delayed by the Covid pandemic and some family members overseas.

Chris was a banquet and restaurant manager with a large network of friends. He was born at Banbridge Naval Station Maryland June 26 1967, but was a lifelong resident of Florida.

He is survived by his father Kevin, brother Peter, wife LeighAnn, son Sean and daughter Allyson. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathy in 2003.

He began his career in food service with Steak and Shake and soon moved to banquet service with Sea World, then to Americrown, a division of Nascar which took him all over the U.S. with the races handling the VIP catering for race car owners, drivers and others in the racing business. His reasoning for his love of the food service, that he often said, "I like to make people happy" and when he said "my pleasure" he meant it.

His mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Margaret Mary church chapel 10:00 AM on July 16, 2022.

Due to the length of time since his death the family requests no flowers or memorial donations.

I remember Chris as a handsome, kind young man.
Love the photo you have shared of him. He looks so much like Kathy and Kevin.
