Anne

Our prayers are with you and your family. Knowing John as a friend through college and once again during our short residence in Florida has been both a pleasure and a privilege. We are so glad that we had a chance to see, talk and laugh with him once again at the reunion in June. As difficult as it is right now, we know that the Lord has a reason for bringing John home now. God Bless.

Dearest Mrs. Connolly,
It was my pleasure to work with your husband. His wonderful sense of humor (especially his cat jokes!)and his generous nature will always be with me. I am so sorry I will be unable to attend the services, but my memories of your husband will always be like a warm sunny day .I will always have a big smile on my face when I do so. A pioneer, yes he was, but he was so much more than that to all he worked with. With my deepest sympathy to you and your loved ones. Pattie Jean.

Dear Anne and girls -
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dr. Connolly was a good person to work with and for, with a good sense of humor. I'll be thinking of you in the days to come - and know how lost and lonely you will feel. I'm sure he will find plenty of friends in heaven and will be waiting for you to join him.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He loved his family and was a man to be respected. I worked for him at ORMC Ortho Dept. He was a great man, teacher, boss and friend.

Anne and girls,
It was 30 years ago (Sept, '77) that we joined you and John in Omaha and at the University of Nebraska. Those years were laden with wonderful memories of the very kind, thoughtful and loving Father of the family on Fairacres Road and the superb teacher, researcher and chairman of the Orthopaedic Departmentat the University. His Orthopaedic legacy goes on in the minds and work of all that he touched. Our prayers are with you at this time,
Our Lord will enjoy having John to
watch over thr Orthopaedic needs in Heaven.
