Richard Joseph Sane

SANE, RICHARD JOSEPH, age 68, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away at home on Friday, October 29th, 2004 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Ishpeming, MI, December 14, 1935 to Cecilia M. and John J. Sane. He graduated with highest honors from Northern Michigan College in 1962. That same year he was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, where he served in the 676th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron. An exceptional businessman, over the next two decades he owned and operated Best Brand Beverages in Hamilton, NY. He retired to Central Florida in 1983 and pursued his passion for the securities markets. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee. Richard is survived by his loving wife, the former Darla Marcellus; sons, Richard John and Aaron David; daughters, Claudia Jo Roedl and Doreen Marie; grandchildren, Spencer Ross Sane and Keating Rand Sane; and sister, Nanette Palmer. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at 1:30PM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1603 N. Thacker Ave., Kissimmee, with Fr. Robert Mitchell as celebrant. The Family will receive friends from 7PM-9PM on Monday, November 1, 2004 at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 8PM. Mr. Sane will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Hamilton, NY.
