Mr. and Mrs. Carr, we have never had the pleasure to meet. I know your kind and gentle son Brendan, through my son James. Brendan was very polite and helpful when at our house. Brendan would come over to watch movies, play video games or the guitar hero set that would shake the house. I would always try to feed him, in the beginning he would be polite and refuse. Soon after he would eat anything I offered so not to disappoint me. He had a heart bigger that life itself. I would worry about him going home at night, and ask him to text James when he got home. I can only imagine the agony you are going thru because my heart aches at the thought of never seeing him again. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I want to thank you both for sharing him with the different people whose lives he has touched.

There are no words that would be sufficient to express how awful I feel about this. I remember meeting Brendan when he was one of the new Cub Scouts getting ready to join Troop 28. There was never a time since that we were not friends. As much as it pains me now that we had not hung out as much in the past few years, I am so grateful that I was able to hang out with him once last year. Brendan was as thoughtful and full of kindness as he was silly and just absolutely hilarious. He was one of my very best friends throughout our most formative years, and I'm going to miss him so much.

I met your son Brendan through my son, Raymond and his girlfriend,Christine. Brendan was a very talented young man. I can remember him being at our house almost every weekend playing music , especially his drums. There are no words to express my deepest sympathies for your loss. I too was a drummer at EHS, but way back in 62-64. He will be missed by all EHS band alumni.
I also knew his dad in Demolay and i was in Rainbow. Also have very fond memories of Mayor Bob Carr.
My youngest rides a motorcycle and also is a drummer so this really hit me hard.
My prayers are with his Mom and Dad. Please know even though i have not heard about you in 50 years i pray for your peace and cry with you!
