Ruth Healy Obituary

HEALY, RUTH ANN PERRY, 58, went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2004 after a yearlong battle with multiple myeloma (cancer). Born June 9, 1945 in Champaign, IL, she lived the past 38 years in Orlando. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Andy, and their five children; Susan (Javie) Torregrosa, Brian (Robyn) Healy, David (Nicole) Healy, Patty (Ryan) Alkire, all of Orlando, and Mark Healy, a student at the University of Notre Dame. They were blessed with three granddaughters: Chelsea and Emma Torregrosa and Madeline Ruth Alkire. Ruth is also survived by three brothers: Don Perry of Brimfield, MA, Clyde Perry of Centralia, IL and Mike Perry of Champaign, IL; and one sister, Cathy Perry of Orlando. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manford and Ina Perry of Ivesdale, IL. Ruth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6th from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 7th at 10AM from the St. Andrew Catholic Church. Services under the professional direction of Dobbs Funeral Home, 430 North Kirkman Road, Orlando 32811. 407-578-7720.

Ruth was such a dear sweet person. All of the Morrison clan feel very fortunate to have known her. She will be deeply missed. She was a special person and her good spirit will live on, Love, The Morrisons
