Tanya was truly a Blessing, she will be missed by those who loved her. To the Newton Family, you will be in my prayers as you go through this transition. Know that earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal and even though Tanya has gotten her wings and gone on to be with The Lord, she can't crown him till we get there.......

I don't think I have ever been more broken hearted in my life. After growing up in the Florida state council and knowing the Newton's through church, I never dreamed I would go to UCF in 2000 and not only get an education but a second mom in Lady Newton, a second dad in Bishop, another Brother in John and a best friend in Tanya. I shared with Tanya some of the most intimate moments of my life as she did with me. I don't know if I will ever in life have another friend like her. As much as I am saddened, I keep telling myself that she would of wanted me to pull it together and be strong. Although Ill miss hearing her voice several times a day and planning all the vacations we would take once she was well, I know she knew how much I loved her and I know she is finally at peace and able to watch over everyone she loves, as she so desperately in life tried to. And for that reason.... its well with my soul, and I can and will make it. Tanya, please save a seat for me, cause by the time I get there, I'm sure we will have several things to catch up on. I will never forget you or your amazing friendship. Thanks for being real and making me a better man.

Tanya, will be sorely missed by myself and family. She was not just a friend and sister of the church but family. Like another daughter, in whom my son and all of my family spent countless hours from long distance on the phone laughing and talking. Though gone from this life, it is my sincerely belief that heaven's gate has open and received another angel. We love you Tanya, but God loves you more.
