My family move to Kissimmee in 1960 and Jim and John Cantwell were two that I met early on playing sandlot baseball in the neighborhood. It was Jim who encouraged me to play organized baseball, Little League. I was very shy and nervous but with Jim's encouragement, I did. Jim was a great baseball player and I remember John playing basketball, great memories. Thanks Jim and thanks to your brother John for being friends throughout my life in Kissimmee, I will miss you.

Jim Cantwell will always be remembered by his 'can do' attitude. He was a good man, loved by many. Rest easy, now. You deserve it.

I have nothing but good memories of working with Jim and Joe Kent (Geezer) in the electric planning department for the City of Kissimmee, Angie (my BFF since freshman in high school), being right down the hall, working in Public Works! What a wonderful life they had together, my heart aches for your loss, Angie. To you, Jim, peace out.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim during the Silver Spurs Rodeo events. He was a hard worker, always a smile on his face, never a bad word spoken about anyone or anything. Prayers and Blessings to Angie and family. RIP my friend until we meet again.

I still miss those days of our youth on the baseball field. I remember your home run against St. Cloud to win the Little League County championship when I was ten. We had fun, you pitching and me as the catcher for Tupperware, the Oilers and the Kowboys!
