I remember J.D. from elementary school. We were in Mrs. McCartney's class together in the 2nd grade. We never really talked, but I remember when he was handing out birthday party invitations to classmates...and when he fell off from something on the playground and was taken to get stitches in the middle of the day.
Though we never really talked, I remember him being in an art class I was in in high school; he seemed to always be around someplace.
I was sorry when I found out what had happened...it's a tough thing to come to grips with.
My sincerest sympathies and condolances to his family and friends.

Roy and Cindy and family,
I am so very saddened to hear of the untimely passing of your wonderful son, JD. But it must warm your heart to read the kind and loving comments of JD's friends who will also miss him very much. May God comfort you as you mourn the loss of your irreplaceable son, and may He keep JD in His loving arms until you reunite one joyful day in Heaven.
Thinking of you,
Your cousin, Susan

I knew JD by friends at Coleman High School. HE was a very nice person. He made everybody laugh and he cared so much for Samantha Hartcourt. We will all miss him so very much. You wouldn't think of him as passing away. JD was always talking about doing everything with Samantha and it a shame that this had to happen. God bless you JD.
Your friend always

JD was a good friend, he was my comfort and my solace. When I was having a really hard time with something, he was the person who helped me through it. I loved him like a brother, he was one of the best people I ever met.... I'll miss him like none other. He will be in my prayers, and I hope he's in a better place...

JD was like my brother. He always looked out for me when he was still in school, and I will miss the protection and security that his presence brought to me. I'll always remember our 10 o'clock ice cream runs, and the time we went bowling, and our late night conversations on msn, when we were first getting to know eachother. He will always be my big brother, no one will replace him.

I knew JD through my friends, Erica Kohler, Tristin Hansen, Emily Dohm and Ashley Perry. I never got to know JD very well but I had talked to him a couple of times and when I talked to him he was nice and polite.
I will always have JD in my thoughts and prayers from now on. And everytime I look at chili cheese fries or listen to Back in Black by AcDc I will think of him and how he hated pickels... We will miss you greatly Jd.
