Lee Chandler Obituary

LA CENTER - Lee Chandler, 27, passed away on Monday, April 7. 2025 in Kevil. Lee was born on April 8, 1997, to his parents, Rod and Michele Chandler.

Lee will be remembered as a fun-loving, easy soul who lived each day with joy and purpose. People were naturally drawn to him - his genuine nature, humor, and caring spirit made him someone you couldn't help but love. Lee was someone you could instantly connect with, and he never missed a chance to truly live life to the fullest.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Cassidy, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby boy, Charlie. His heart overflowed with love for his family - his parents, Rod and Michele Chandler, and his brothers, Clay and Bradley, shared a bond filled with laughter, adventure, and countless cherished memories. Lee also held a deep love for his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and his many dear friends, each of whom held a special place in his life.

Lee had an unmatched passion for the outdoors. Whether he was deer hunting, duck hunting, dove hunting, fishing, or searching for arrowheads, he felt most at home surrounded by nature. He carried a quiet respect for wildlife and a deep appreciation for the land, which he so often explored with those he loved.

Lee didn't take life too seriously - he embraced each day with a light heart and a sense of adventure. Though his time here was far too short, he made an unforgettable impact on everyone he met. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Cassidy (Hagedorn) of La Center; parents, Rod and Michele Chandler of La Center; two brothers, Clay Chandler of Oscar, and Bradley Chandler of Tampa, Florida; sister-in-law, Kate Wendling (Justin) of Henderson, Kentucky; grandparents, Dale and Judy Warford of La Center, and Judy Nell Chandler of La Center; mother and father in-law, Jeff and Shannon Hagedorn of Waverly.
