David Clough Obituary

David "Dave" N. Clough, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 in Joseph, OR. At his request, there will be no service.

Dave was a truly stand-up man with a heart of gold. He was always ready to help anyone in need. He will be fondly remembered for his strong work ethic and his vast knowledge, which he readily shared with advice. There was seemingly nothing Dave couldn't fix. He loved working on his ranch and running his sawmill.

He had a passion for old cars and took great pride in his time racing in NASCAR. His NASCAR driver's license was a cherished possession, and he loved recounting the story of how he earned it. Dave was a natural storyteller and loved to talk. He also greatly enjoyed his time working at Valley Bronze Foundry, where he held his coworkers in high regard. In addition, Davie dedicated many seasons to help fight wildfires for the state. He was very fond of his small town of Joseph. Dave's laughter and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. He loved his family and his pets deeply and will be dearly missed by all. In his own words, "It's just one of those things."

Dave is survived by his wife, Teresa and his sons, Aaron, Kyle and Jeremy, along with their families. He is also survived by his mother, Jean Clough, and his brother, Mark Clough and his family.

Dave was a very kind and knowledgeable man. As Shakespeare said, "we shall not look upon his like again". Dave will be missed, condolences to all his family.

I Give my sincere condolences to all of Dave's Family and Friends. I had the pleasure of his giving me a tour of The Foundry in the 1990's and I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
