Barbara Feldstein Obituary

Family-Placed Obituary

BARBARA DWYER FELDSTEIN Our Beloved Barbara passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on January 25, 2011 at Hospice Of The Palm Beaches. She leaves behind a loving family, her husband of 58 years, Kurt Feldstein; daughter, Heidi Feldstein Fernandez; son-in-law, Hernando and her precious granddaughter, Cristina. Barbara was born in New Haven, CT on December 31, 1928 to Sonia and Harry Dwyer. She was raised in Providence, RI and attended Mt. Pleasant High School and The New England Conservatory of Music where she excelled as a gifted pianist and violinist. However, her greatest joy in life was her family. Barbara was the light of our lives and she spread sunshine throughout her life. She could best be described as a humanitarian who loved life, who was loving, intelligent, compassionate and possessed a remarkable sense of humor. There was always laughter surrounding her. Everyone loved Barbara! An eternal optimist, her favorite expression was "Don't worry, this too shall pass." Barbara is also survived by her loving brothers, Seymour of Massachusetts, Thomas of Maryland and Joseph of Massachusetts. Predeceased by her sister, Patricia Dwyer Roberts and brother-in-law, Elwood Roberts. Barbara also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, childhood friend Catherine Rocca, lifelong friends Marie Lopez and Millie Kashuk and special friend and neighbor Jeannie Krell. As per Barbara's wishes services will be private and Memorial gifts can be made to Hospice Of The Palm Beaches at www.hpbc.com Rest in peace Oh Beautiful One!!!
