GERTRUDE MARGARET BANDY Gertrude Margaret Bandy, loving wife, mother, Oma and great grandmother. Gertrude (Trudie) Bandy, 90 years old, quietly passed away December 5, 2007. Trudie was born in Sinzig, Germany of January 1, 1917 to Margaret and Herman Schulte, and in 1950 immigrated to America with Otto Bandy, her husband of the past 58 years. The young couple and their three children first lived in New York City before settling in Ringwood, NJ. The family moved to Palm Beach Gardens in 1970. Trudie was an accomplished pianist, a wonderful cook and skilled seamstress. She was preceded in death by her son Fred. She is survived by her husband Otto, daughter, Karen Rogers (husband Bill), son, Frank (wife Julie), and daughter-in-law Maddie Bandy, along with her brother, Fritz Schulte (wife Lotte) Heiningen, Germany; grandchildren Chuck and Rick Mazie, Christine Helderman, Susie Milton, Kevin and Nick Bandy, Meagan Bell and great grandchildren Tyler and Mikaela Helderman, Charlie and Hanna Mazie, Alex Mazie, Autumn, Lily and Miles Bandy and many more loving family members. Memorial Service will be Saturday December 8, at 5:00 PM at the Aycock Funeral Home 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, Florida. In lieu if flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Palm Beaches 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407.
