Pastor Nerissa E. Jackson, 54, wife of Pastor Kenneth
Jackson; Senior Pastor of Glades Covenant Community Church passed away on January 14, 2015. The public viewing will begin on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Camel Funeral Home - Leon Camel, Jr. Chapel. The funeral service will proceed on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church, 17 NW Avenue B, Belle Glade, FL. Interment: Foreverglades Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the Jackson family is requesting that donations be given to the Nerissa E. Jackson Memorial Fund for the
future establishment of a Foundation in her honor.

Words can not express our spirtiual mother/daugther bond. I will always cherish the fond memories of time with each other. You taught me so many things growing up as a young woman and I am forever grateful. We loved me and I knew it, you were my role model and I thank God for your existence. I develop a closer relationship with God due to your life style and example and I know you received all kinds of rewards for that. You've touched so many and left us with a great legacy to run with.

What a Phenomenal Woman! Woman of Worship, Faith, Grace, Love, Virtue, and Power. My heart is sadden yet I know you are rejoicing before the King of King. I think of the song "I Can Only Imagine". Dancing, Bowing, Singing, or on you knees before the King, I Can only Imagine.
Soft spoken yet full of power. You have left an indelible mark on my life and the lives of all who encounter Christ in you. I'm blessed to have met you; we didn't stay in contact as we thought we would but anytime we got together the fellowship was rich.
Our continued prayer are with Pastor Ken and family, the church family and all who have been impacted by you life and your passing.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and Auntie, Nerissa. She was very influential in our lives always with a cheery smile and words of encouragement.
