Neil, I was so sorry to hear of Becky's death. I still
have her last Christmas card to me with Emily's picture. God love her; she was a fighter. You and Emily are in my thoughts and prayers. I know well Becky's love of you both and her fight to stay, Emily, to be with you as long as she could. I can still see her smile. Much Caring,

Dear Dr. Borland and Family,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Becky and I went to PA school together. The one thing I will remember the most about her is her sense of humor. The left hand side of the room (where Becky sat) was always laughing about something! I have fond memories of her. My prayers go out to you, Emily and her family.

Dear Dr. Borland & Emily,
I had the privilege of attending Physician Assistant school, in Baltimore, with Becky. I remember her as always bright and witty with a very strong will. She served as our Class President and proved to be a more than competent leader, even way back then. I loved her wit and sense of humor... and the look and the smile that she would send when you really connected with her. She played an important part of my educational experience. Although, the years have passed and I have not been in touch with her, I know that the world is a different place without her. On behalf of the Essex P.A. Class of 1987, I wish to extend our condolences.
Sincerely,
Brian W. Horgan, PA-C

I met Becky in PA school at ECC and she ultimately became my mentor, but more importantly, my friend. Professionally, she was the standard by which any PA would want to attain. Personally, she was a caring and devoted friend and I am a better person simply by having known her. She battled her illness with incredible bravado. I know her ultimate inspiration was her miracle, Emily. I wish peace to Emily and Neill and the rest of Becky's family. There's an empty spot in the universe with Becky being gone.
