Robert WINSHIP Obituary
(1928-2015) The Lord called home his son Bob "Pops"
Winship on Sunday, January
18, 2015. He was born and raised in Springville, NY. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1949 and went on to earn a Pharmacy degree at the University of Buffalo. He moved his family to the Palm Beach, FL area in the late 1950's. He established
Winship's Pharmacy in North Palm Beach and was a pillar in the community for over 20 years. He sat on many boards and was active with the Lion's Club. Later, he transitioned to the Jupiter, FL area where he continued his stewardship with the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed Big Band music, playing
saxophone, traveling, and being a Christian leader to his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Aileen, his children Christine Sweeney, Suzanne Alhart, Murray Winship, and
Michael Winship. He has six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A donation may be made to Knights of Columbus council #4999, (561) 622 7267. ([email protected])

Aileen and family - We were sorry to hear of the passing of your Bob - our Dr. Winship. That's what our children (now adults) always called him. We started coming to Winships Pharmacy when we moved to Florida in 1972. What a kind man! - Ione and Gary Wiren - Trace, Paige, Bryn, and Dane

So sadden by the news that such a great and wonderful man had passed. I use to run around Winship's Pharmacy since I was a toddler. My family and the Winship family was very close. We spent many holiday's and weekends together. I loved our Christmas party's the best. Winnie(what I called him) would break out his saxophone. Our family's did so much together. Winnie and his wife Eileen are also my girl's Godparent's. Robert Winship was such a great man and he will truly be missed. Sending my love to the Winship family.
