SOPHIE PALMICH Age 79, of the Oaks, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 16, 2004 at Hospice of Palm Beach after a brief illness. Mrs. Palmich was born November 15, 1924 in New York City, NY daughter of the late Joseph Sabadin and Josephine Udovi´c Sabadin. She had been a resident of the Palm Beaches for the past 17 years, coming from Huntington, L.I., NY She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Centerport, L.I., NY and St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, North Palm Beach. Mrs. Palmich leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 58 years, Joseph A. Palmich; her loving children: Virginia Dwyer of North Hampton, MA, Joan Linden of Amherst, MA, Susan Moran and her husband Kenneth of Huntington Station, L.I., NY, and James J. Palmich of Chicago, IL; her sister, Josephine Schmitt of Jupiter, FL; her adored six grandchildren: Audrey Quest, Sarah Dwyer, Nicholas, Joseph and Susannah Brigandi, and Alexander Carter; and her cherished great-grandchildren: Lauren Quest and Nicholas Ryan Brigandi. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Bianco. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM Thursday (TODAY), March 18 and from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM Friday, March 19 at TAYLOR & MODEEN FUNERAL HOME, 250 Center St., Jupiter where a wake service will be held at 6:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 20 at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 10970 SR A1A, North Palm Beach with Msgr. Joseph Colligan as celebrant. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:45 AM Saturday, March 27 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic church, 53 Prospect Road Centerport, L.I., NY. Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick's Rural Cemetery, Huntington, L.I., NY.
