Family-Placed Funeral Notice
TANYA LENORA LEWIS Tanya was given to her parents on July 6, 1973 for a short 34 years when the Lord decided to take her home on Monday, July 9 at 12:03 A.M. She leaves to cherish the memory of her life , her three sons, Vernon, Jonathan and Bryant; her parents, Irma and Billy Lewis; brother, Jerry; sister, Alicia; nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and beloved friends. The wake will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2007 from 5-8 PM at Royal Palm Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 11 AM. I received a call from my mother while I was on vacation. I was shocked when she gave me the news. As children we were so close. I called and considered her my little sister. She was a beautiful person outside as well as inside. I will keep you in my prayers. May you find strength in the Lord through this difficult time.

I am saddened to head of Tanya's passing. Tanya worked in my home as a nurse for hospice during the "transition" of my daughter, Angel. Tanya was truely an angel during that time. Her presence alone brought comfort to my daughter during her demise and to the family afterwards. To the lewis family, I offer my deepest sympathy.

"May the work that I've done speak for me"..... Tanya was BY FAR one of the BEST nurses I've seen in over 18 years!! Tanya was my BEST friend and I will truely miss her. I don't have anyone to tell me to get off the phone when law and order comes on. To mom and dad (Irma and Billy), To vernon, Johnathan, and BJ be strong, hold your head high and be thankful that GOD chose to enrich your lives with such a wonderful person.

The world only gets but so many chances to see a real live angel Tonya was one of them for god is good all the time he dont make mistakes.I have never senced such a lost like I have this past week It still isnt finial to me yet i keep thinking that I am going to pick up the phone and she is going to be on the other end I havent stop weeping sence I heard that she past away but not for the lost of Tonya but the fact that I am going to be without my friend my angel! Tonya you did your part you lived loved and laughed we got to get to where you have gone you will be missed for the rest of my life!! Tonya, as a child growing up in the Seventh- Day Adventist Church we were always taught to trust, believe and have faith in God. We were taught to respect and love one another because it was the Godly way. Reflecting back in time to when we sung with The Gospel Angels, the kids choir or attended Sabbath School, I always remember your smile and the way you would share whatever it was you had with anyone. As the years passed and we became women and mothers no matter where we seen each other we would always greet each other with love. You will be missed deeply. God gives us strength to endure and my family (The Woodbury's) love you very much! We will continue to pray for the Lewis family and trust that God will comfort your kids.
