WILFREDO 'FREDDY' ALMODOVAR Age 53, of Port St. Lucie, FL died Friday, July 11 at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, FL. He was born in New York, NY and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1992 coming from San Bernadino, CA. He was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the US Air Force. He was a Police Officer with Jupiter Police Department in Jupiter, FL for 12 years. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his wife, Diane Almodovar of Port St. Lucie, FL; four daughters, Rosa Almodovar of Queens, NY, Lydia Hailey of El Paso, TX, Angelica Worley of Port St. Lucie, FL and Alicia Almodovar of Port St. Lucie, FL; one grandson; his father, Benito Almodovar of Puerto Rico and four sisters, Gloria Almodovar of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, Gladys Mann of Williamsport, PA, Carmen Almodovar and Awilda Almodovar both of Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, July 20 at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday, July 22 at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL.
