Dave was my friend and my first mentor at State Farm. When I moved to Bloomington he and Bette treated me as a son, and had me over for dinner more times than I can count. He was also a groomsman in my wedding. He was one of the kindest men I have ever met. I am so lucky to have known him, and to have been invited into his life. Farewell my dear friend.
