John Kruse

April 12, 1968 - April 13, 2025

John Kruse, 57, of Mt. Pulaski passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 in his home with his family by his side.

John was born on April 12, 1968 in Chicago, IL. The son of Herman "Butch" and Frances (Keller) Kruse. He married Mandi Pharis on May 26, 2018 in Salem, IN.

John is survived by his wife, Mandi; his mother, Frances Kruse; his daughters, Taylor (Amanda) Kruse, and Kaci Kruse; his grandchildren, Ashton, Brody, Kaisley, and Graysen; his sisters, Gayle Vincent, Kelly Kruse, and Brenda Kruse.

John was preceded in death by his father, "Butch"; his sister, Leighan; and his brother, Donny.

John was a Forklift operator for over 30 years. John enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, mushroom hunting, and bonfires.

A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski, IL.

John was a fun person to be around in high school. I am so sorry about his death. My prayers are for his family to have peace at this sad time.
