BLOOMINGTON - Kelly R. Park, 58, formerly of Bloomington, more recently of Sun Lakes AZ, died Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. at her home.
Kelly was born April 18, 1965 in Normal, the daughter of Carol (Picht) and Kenneth Morgan Jr. She married David R. Park on November 7, 2001 in Bloomington.
Survivors include her husband, Dave; her parents; brother, Brad (Lisa) Morgan; stepson, Logan Park; also nephew and niece: Austin and Haley Morgan. She was preceded in death by an older brother, Brian at birth; and father-in-law, Robert Park; along with both sides of grandparents.
Kelly grew up in Normal and was a graduate of Normal Community High School, and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign. She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She worked for State Farm Insurance in Bloomington for approximately 35 years, many as a Human Resources Investigator, before moving to Arizona with her husband.
Visitations will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, and also from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, both located at Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomington. Kelly's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, following the visitation, at the church with Pastor Sara L. Isbell officiating. Entombment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Bloomington.
Memorials may be made in Kelly's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Boxer Luv Rescue (Phoenix, AZ); or Ruby's Rescue & Retreat (McLean, IL).
