CLINTON - Kenneth Eugene Stalter, 90, Clinton, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Mr. Stalter was born September 18, 1934, in Chenoa, Ill., the son of Wilbert and Margaret Louise Brave Stalter. He married Cleadeth C. Klein on March 9, 1958, in Chenoa, Ill. She preceded him in death on July 24, 1982. He then married Doris Chapman on November 6, 1987. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2015.
Survivors include his brother, Wesley (June) Stalter, Greensburg, Ind.; a special companion, Rita Scanlon, Bloomington, Ill.; and two stepdaughters, Vickie (John) Roetker, Ottawa, Ill. and Sherry (Bob) Chapman, Clinton, Ill.; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded death by three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2025, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, followed by at graveside service at Chenoa Twp. Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Williams of the Chenoa Baptist Church will officiate. The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of their choice.
