Mrs. Lindsey (also Mrs. Chesney) was my 7th grade English teacher at Jackson Intermediate School. This was in the mid seventies. She always had a smile on her face and something kind or uplifting to say. She was full of life and managed on more than one occasion to make the insecure adolecent me feel special. It was obvious, even back then, that she loved to teach and really reach out to her students.
I remember her wonderful sense of fashion and from looking at the photo gallery, she had and kept that fashionista spirit all of her life.
I pray for all of her family and friends that our Sweet Savior gives them comfort during this difficult time of grief.
