Beatrice Mills

Beatrice Virginia Mills passed away on December 12, 2018 at her home in Pasadena, Tx. She was born on October 8, 1922 in Galveston, Tx. She received her B.A. from Baylor University and her M.A. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth Tx. In partnership with her husband she served as a missionary in three West African countries - Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Ghana. She then returned to the United States in support of her family as her husband was assigned the position of administrator - director for West Africa with the Baptist Foreign Mission Board in Richmond, Va. After retiring in 1988 Virginia and her husband moved back to their home state of Texas. In Pasadena, Tx. they became steadfast members of South Main Baptist Church. Virginia is survived by her daughter Carol Mills and son John Mills. Visitation will be at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, Pasadena, Tx. From 5-7 P.M. on Monday 17, December. Funeral service will also be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel on Tuesday 18, December at 10 A.M., after which she will be buried at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, Tx.
