Bob Napier, 70 of Deer Park, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 following an extended illness.
Bob was a veteran of both the US Air Force and the US Coast Guard and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a Golf Course Superintendent at Del Lago, Bentwater, Baywood Country Club and Battleground at Deer Park. He was a very respected member of the Texs Turf Grass Association and was known for his knowledge and skill.
Bob is survived by his wife of 40 years Carol Napier, daughter Kelly Napier Butterfras, son Guy Napier and his wife Karina Napier, His mother Della Napier, his brothers Steve Napier and Johnny Napier. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren Zak and Jacob Butterfras and Theodore "Teddy" Napier due on Bob's birthday Aug. 2.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Deer Park United Methodist Church 1300 East 13th St. in Deer Park, Thursday, June22,2017 at 3:00. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
