Celia Cherry Obituary
Celia Gaitan Cherry, 56, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away June 13, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Michael Cherry; her sons, Joseph Garza and wife Valeria, Robert (Bobby) Garza; her grandchildren, Marissa, Chloe, and Angelina Garza; her sisters and brothers, Trina Gloria, Fidel Gaitan, Joe Gaitan, Tina Razo, Gloria Estrada, Rudy Gaitan, Frances Ramirez, Stella Meaux, and Jane Paredez; her mother-in-law, Evelyn Cherry, also by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2013, at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook St., Houston, Tx. 77034, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013, also at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grand View Cemetery, Pasadena, Tx.

My dearest sister-in-law, I loved you like a daughter and confided in you as my best friend. Words cannot express how my heart aches knowing you are not physically here with us. I will miss those phone calls you would make each and every, just to see what I was doing. Knowing you were truly making sure I was okay. It comforts me to know you are in Heaven with Robert and your family. Holidays will never be the same without your beautiful smile. Thank you for all those wonderful memories you created with me and my family. Those beautiful memories will comfort us during our time of sadness.

Heaven is blessed to have such a special Angel. I will always remember Sally as such a bubbly and spirited person. Her generosity to others was never ending. If a party needed to be planned, Sally was the organizer. Sally and Mike worked with my husband, Bill, for many, many years together. Sally now joins Bill in Heaven.
My prayers of comfort and sympathy are with Sally's family.
