Charles Boots Obituary

Charles O. (Chuck) Boots passed away April 3, 2012 at the age of 75. Chuck was born January 20, 1937 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Charles William and Thelma Dean Boots. He spent his formative years in California before moving back to Oklahoma where he graduated from high school. He arrived in Texas in 1955 and has been here since. During his life he worked in concrete sales, heavy construction with Brown & Root, built custom homes and ended up retiring from Phillips Chemical Company in 2001. Chuck is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gloria Jean, brother Tom and wife, Jac Boots, sons James and John Boots, daughters, Cassy Dobson and husband Wayne, Amy Brousseau and husband Bruce, grandchildren Daniel Boots, Michelle Turner and husband Sterling, Lisa Hoelscher and husband John, Paige Massingale, Kim Martin and husband Kevin, Laura Lynn Boots, and six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was a great PawPaw and family mattered most. The funeral service and visitation were held at Niday - Fairmont Funeral Home in Pasadena. Interment followed at Grandview Memorial Park.
