Charles "Chuck" T. Brooks passed away quietly at his home on December 23, 2013 after a short battle with bladder cancer. He was 78 years old born June 26, 1935. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Emilie, his son K.C. and wife Huong Brooks, his daughter Cindy Brooks and son Bill Brooks. He is also survived by grandson Charlie Brooks, grand daughters Claire and Madison Brooks and great grandson Mason Miller. He was preceeded in death by both his parents Claire and Thyra Brooks. "Doc" as he was known by his Navy buddies retired from the United States Navy in 1972 after serving this country for 20 years. Soon after, Chuck was employed for another 20 years by Diamond Shamrock Corporation from where he also retired. Services will be held at a later date where he will be buried in his boyhood home of Woodstock, Illinois. Please join the family in celebration of his life at his daughter's home at 7206 Lance in Pasadena from 1-5 on Saturday, January 18th.
