Charles Patton "Chuck" Smith, age 54, was called home on November 1, 2011, after a year-long battle with cancer. At his side was his loving wife Cindy, two daughters, Emily and Amy, brother, Ray, and sister Celia. Chuck was born on May 10, 1957 to Charles and Patsy Smith of Pasadena, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, two daughters, Emily and Amy, brother, Ray Smith, sister, Celia McGuire and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1PM at Clearpoint Church, 5151 East Sam Houston Parkway South in Pasadena. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. I will never forget the all the years I knew Chuck and all the words of wisdom he shared with me and all the girls over the years while coaching softball and off the field.
