Donald Daugherty Obituary
Donald L. Daugherty of LaPorte Tx. passed away March 24, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. Born Aug. 1, 1949 Tacoma Wa. to Fred & Delores Daugherty.
Don moved to LaPorte after school to drive trucks and do mechanic work at Sealand Services with ILA local 28 for more than 30 years. He also worked for the Port of Houston at Barbours Cut and Bayport terminals as a crane operator.
Don is survived by his wife Phyllis, the love of his life, a sister Marjorie McAdams, Fredericksburg, Tx., one niece and nephew.
Many thanks to Hallmark Hospice, Pat & Brad were so helpful and kind.
Thanks to all our friends that have helped me through this time.
To honor Don, there will be a memorial picnic held at a later date.

You can find comfort in God's word during this difficult time.God is the creator and source of life. (Palms 36:9) So the one who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. Acts 17:24, 25.
