Dorothy Nell Eckhardt, 69, passed away on November 28, 2012. She was born on September 30, 1943, in Pasadena, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, John, Sr. and Nell Eckhardt and brother, John Eckhardt, Jr. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Jimmy Parisher; brother, James; son, Danny; daughter, Lynn and husband Tim; 5 grandchildren, Matt, Sam, Robin, Natalie and Danielle; 1 great-granddaughter and numerous loving family members and friends. Services were held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment followed at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486.
