I will not soon forget this woman Ella. There was never a dull moment with her. She was outspoken and funny and very loyal. She seemed to thrive being around the younger staff at work, cutting up with them. Ella was also that way with the kids at Kingsdale. She would look after them, sometimes staying after hours until they were picked up. Ella was Kingsdale and she brought a special charm to that center. Ella was my friend and that meant a lot. She was fiercely independent and turned down help most of the time. Ella was the person I strive to be- Strong, funny, loved and admired. I am grateful for knowing her and sharing in her life the past 19 years. Love you always Lady!

Well, Christmas has come and gone and you were missed at the dinner table.Like so many times in the past 20+ years, we expected you to show up but knew you wouldn't. It was a sadder Christmas day. I will miss our long conversations. Betty will miss her long time friend and your going to breakfast doctor trips. Rest easy my friend. I know God has taken you to his bosom and given you peace. Oklahoma and Texas will never be the same. We all miss you. You have been such a dear dear friend to my entire family for over 25 years and you will not be forgotten...
