Ellen Frances Estes, 91, of Houston, TX passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. She was born on November 24, 1922 in St. Johns, Newfoundland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Floyd H. Estes and only daughter Mona Estes. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church for many years. She is survived by two sisters, four sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Canada. Visitation will be held at St. Frances Cabrini on Monday, December 9th from 5pm-7pm with a Rosary beginning at 6pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, December 10th at 9:30am at St. Francis Cabrini, 10727 Hartsook St., Houston, TX. Ellen will be buried in the Chapel Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Estes was a beautiful person and I am sure she is happy to be with God. She always greeted me with a warm smile. Many times, when I would be Cantoring in church, she would be looking right at me and would make me smile. God bless her soul. Carmen Gordon
