Gail MacFarlane, 64, of Pasadena, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 13, 2012. She was born on February 16, 1948 in New Jersey to Corbett & Madelyn McCarthy. She is survived by her two sons, James and Michael, her brother Corbett McCarthy of New Jersey and her Aunt Mary E McCarthy of New Jersey. She was very close to many members and staff at the church and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Dennis and Christopher, her sisters Lynn and Deborah.
Gail was a devoted Realtor with MacFarlane Realty and was well known the market and will be missed by colleague and friends. She was active in the Pasadena Area for the last 25 years. She has touched the lives of thousands of people in the Pasadena area. She also knew how to make you feel special whether through a small gift or what to say at the right moment.
Gail was very proud of her two sons, James and Michael. She would talk about them constantly to anyone and everyone. She was an avid book reader and would at times read many books and even finish a book in one night. She loved to read the USA Today and the Pasadena Citizen.
A memorial service celebrating Gail's life was held at First Baptist Church of Pasadena, Friday August 17, 2012, officiated by Dr. Jon Redmond.
