I'll never sing Amazing Grace again and not think about Jack:) It was always "his" song when we sang together at Parson's House.
I will miss talking to him -

My condolences go out to all of Jack's friends and family members. I will surely miss him. I am a part of The Joyful Noise Singers who come to sing and fellowship with the residents of Parson's House every first and third Thursday of the month. Jack could sing very well, and was always planning on coming up front to sing with us, but he never did. Now he sings with Jesus Thank you, GOD, for Jack, while you blessed us with his wonderful smile and love for All mankind ! Sincerely, Carole Owens

Some ladies from our church (Life Community Church in LaPorte) have been going to the Parson's House twice a month on Thurs. evening to sing and have the folks there sing with us. Jack has been one of our favorite people to talk to, and we prayed for him 2 weeks ago when we were there. He was in the hospital........we were so very saddened today when we went to sing to hear he had passed away. We would have come to the funeral home if we had known. Jack was such a delight and loved to sing with us and kid us that he was gonna get up there with us next time and lead the singing. Of course, we always tried to get him to, but he would not. He was a teaser, but he did love the Lord, and we enjoyed hearing his stories about his house building and his family and Shell. WE WILL MISS HIM TERRIBLY! It was a real pleasure to know him. Condolences to the family of Jack Coleman. I met Mr Coleman at Parsons House Assisted Living while visiting my Mother. Enjoyed a few conversations with him about the Lord, Family, Shell Oil & his house building. I didn't know Mr Coleman long but he was most sincere & a sweet man.
