John Studard Obituary

John Robert "Bob" Studard, 85, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on August 15, 2014. Visitation will be held at Golden Acres Baptist Church, Pasadena TX, from 2:00 pm Sunday, August 17, 2014, followed by the funeral service at 4:00. Interment and a private burial service will take place on Monday morning at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Thelma, his sister Blanche and her husband Albert "Pete" Stewart, his brother Jim Studdard, and his niece Grace Hiser. He is survived by his sister-in-law Ann Studdard; son Larry Studard & wife Dorthy of Russellville AR; daughter Sharon Boswell and husband Belvin of Pasadena; Grandsons Paul Boswell and wife Judith of Kemah and Kevin Boswell and partner Phillip Archer of Dallas; three great-grandchildren (his fishing buddy Blake, his adored granddaughters Aimee and Kristen, and their mother, Michelle Boswell, all of Pasadena), many nieces and nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.

The family wishes to thank all of the caregivers at Pine Tree Cottage, Denson Home Health nurse Paulette Bennett, and the AMED Hospice team for the loving care given to Bob over the last few years. We would also like to thank the many friends and extended family members who visited faithfully and helped to add love and cheer to his life.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Niday - Fairmont Funeral Home.
