I met Evelyn at Sugar Land Bible Church. We had so much fun together going out to lunch or just visiting in her home. I haven't seen her in five years when I moved away and was saddened to see she had passed. But I know she is happy today being with the Lord and H. G. A note to her granddaughters, she loved you so much and talked about you all the time. You brought her so much joy. Thank you!

Aunt Evelyn was one of my favorite Aunts. When ever I would visit during the summers, she always had Apple Butter because it was my favorite. She never forgot. She and Uncle HG were so giving of their love and time. She will always be in my thoughts.

Ms. Evelyn was just a blessing for me. When I moved into 815 she not just fed me, she fed my movers as well. My thoughts of her are warm and inviting. She and Mr. Hugh looked out for me and blessed me more than any would will ever be able to say.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Evelyn taught my Mom (Virginia) how to play dominoes while at Autumn Grove Cottage. We always had a good time playing games with her, and she always had interesting stories to tell. We will miss her.
