Manuel Cortes Obituary
Manuel Cortes, Jr., 69, was taken from us on August 12, 2011 after a long illness. He was born on July 27, 1942 to Manuel Cortes and Andrea Soto Cortes, and lived in Pasadena, Texas where he raised his family. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie and three children, Teresa Cortes Klein and husband Ron, Gordon De Spain and wife Lynn, and DeeAnn De Spain. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Alvin 22, Andrew 18, Jarik 18, Quinten 17, Alex Andrea 17, Tristen 15, Gillian 14, Ashton 12, and Jarod 9. Manuel has gone on to be with family he loved so much; his parents and his four sisters, Terry Harvell, Mary Green, Josephine Shaw and Carmen Aguilar. Manuel was a member of the Local 211 Pipefitters Union for 34 years. Our father was loved and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 2:00 - 5:00 pm Compean Funeral Home on 2102 Broadway Blvd, Houston
