Nancy Kohler Cooper, 73, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on June 18, 2013.
Nancy graduated from Pasadena High School Class of 1957. She then attended Stetson University in DeLand, Florida where she was a member of Pi Phi Sorority and graduated in 1961. On November 27th, 1963 she married her high school sweetheart Curtis Cooper and they had four loving children. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Curtis; her children, Wade Cooper and James Parker, Karen Martin and husband Jamie, Christy Denman, Cindy Hartt and husband Wayne; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Jaclyn, Lindsey, Katelyn, Grace, Brandon, Courtney, Eddie, and Cody; and by her two great-grandchildren, Rylan and Jaelyn.
Nancy loved traveling, going to the beach, all types of flowers, and lace. Many of her family and friends called her "Fancy Nancy".
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Tx. 77503.
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to The American Heart Association at www.heart.org under donations.
