I met Frances only once and it was in relation to the residents purchase of their community. My visit has stuck with me for years. She was so bright and kind and community-minded. In my travels around the country, I've told her story several times. The future homeowners at Pasadena Trails will not likely know of her leadership in securing the community as a co-op. But, many of us do, and we respect her so for her leadership. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Herbert, thank you for calling me. She has been on my mind a lot lately and I just hadn't called. I love her very much and have enjoyed our phone calls these past few years so much. I can still see her walking up to our cottage in Galveston that day and Barbara with tears in her eyes said "She looks so much like Ms. Opal". You all will be in our prayers.
