Pearl Lee Kroener, 95 of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013. Pearl was born on August 6, 1918 in Bellville, Texas to Ed & Alma Kaechele. Pearl was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, garden, and play dominos. Pearl loved camping in her RV with her husband before his passing. Her greatest love was for her family. She was loved and will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Pearl is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Walter Kroener. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Nancy Gale Kroener McWhorter and son-in-law Michael Gene McWhorter; grandson, Steven Wade McWhorter and his wife Jackie; granddaughter, Ashley Nicole McWhorter; and great grandson Michael Loren McWhorter.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Pearl's caretaker, Lydia Rodriguez, for taking such good care of her over the past two years, and being a special friend to Pearl.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.

I have so many wonderful memories of you and mom talking together. You gave mom some of your wonderful vegetables from your huge garden. You were just a wonderful, nice lady. I will never forget you.
