Robert Charles Hasson Jr was my grandfather and he was the nicest man I've EVER met. He would always tickle me and mess with me, he would randomly hug me. He was just the best man. But no one loved him more than my dad/his son. They had such an amazing and loving father son bond. So thank you Paw Paw for being in my life and loving me (and giving the best tickles) love you and miss you.

Dr Hasson was one of the most noble and kindest man I've had a pleasure of crossing paths with. I was a student attending Park View Intermediate from 2014-2016 and he was the first staff to help me find my way to class my first year. This interaction led to me meeting my best friend, as well. I wrote a letter to him in gratitude for Staff Appreciation week in 2015. He took the time to call me one evening to personally thank me for my words to him. When I heard of his passing my sophomore year of high school, I was in shock. It's still heartbreaking to think he won't be here anymore but I and many other students have benefitted so much from his dedication and work. He'll always be remembered by all who knew him. Leadership won't be the same without him. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones <3

I'm so sorry to hear of Robert'a passing. We grew up together as the kids of a close knit group of Pasadena school nurses, and I know his loss will be felt by many.
